Here is a 3D tutorial on how to make a Ganguro style figure using our anime girl,  Chibibel.Chibibel is an anime-style 3D model created by Yamato and you can buy Chibibel  from DAZ3D.com.

What is Ganguro?

You can see our Themed blog posts on Ganguro to understand more about the Ganguro/Gyaru style.

What do I need to make my own 3D Anime Ganguro?

Here is a list of what you will need to create your own 3D anime Ganguro:

– Chibibel (3D model)

-Hair (3D model)

  • You can use the hair that comes with Chibibel.

-Clothing (3D model)

-DAZ Studio 3 or 4, Or Poser

Are you ready to get creative in Poser/DAZ Studio?

You are!

Good! You’ll  also need a  basic knowledge of DAZ Studio/Poser  to complete this tutorial.

let’s begin:

Tutorial: Create your own 3D anime Ganguro using Chibibel

What you are going to be doing is changing how Chibibel’s skin, eyebrows etc looks. These are called Material Zones and will appear in a list when you go to the Materials/Surfaces/Skin section in your 3D Software.
For  POSER Users go to the Material Room
For  DAZ3 Users go to SKIN tab
For  DAZ4 Users go to the SURFACES tab

For this tutorial we will use DAZ Studio 4 but things work similar in POSER and DAZ Studio 3.

Example of Surface Tab DAZ Sudio 4 --- Bel Magazine Blog

1)Click on Chibibel and then on the Surfaces Tab.  (Skin tab in DAZ3 or Material Room in Poser)

2) Change the  DIFFUSE COLOUR  of the lash and brow to yellow
3)Now change SkinBody to a tan/brown colour
3) Make her Lips  pink!
4)Click on the hair (in the normal area like how you clicked on chibibel) and got back to the surfaces tab change the hair as well to yellow/blonde.

You’re almost done!

Load up some clothing for Chibibel so that she has something to wear.

5) Go back to the Surfaces tab. Change the colours of the clothing  or load different patterns under DIFFUSE COLOUR.

Make sure the colours and patterns are bright!

Don’t forget to change her FingerNail and ToeNail settings too.

In the end you will end up with something like this!
